The chilling blood of the family secret became known shortly before the burial of the great artist of the century Lyudmila Zykina. The graves of her mother Ekaterina Vasilyevna and grandmother Vasilisa, next to whom she wanted to be buried herself, are lost at the Danilovsky cemetery of Moscow.
In the will, drawn up a little over a year ago, Lyudmila Georgievna directly indicated that she wanted to be buried in Danilovsky. The cemetery administration was noticeably nervous when an application for registration of the burial site came from Zykina’s fund. That same grave, for which she was caring for half her life, was simply not found on the site. They lost, as if they hadn't needed the thing for a long time ... The authorities throw up their hands: “I was here, and now who can find it! There is no grave.
“On the day of Zykina’s death, we first heard that her mother was buried in our cemetery,” said Dmitry Zakharov, head of the Danilovsky cemetery. - Now it is impossible to find her. We were shocked when the papers came in which we had to bury Lyudmila Zykina with her mother, and my mother, it turns out, is with us ...We will need to review all the archives, but we are unlikely to be able to find, because for this we need at least exact dates of death.
Two days after this conversation, representatives of the Zykina Foundation again contacted the Danilovsky Cemetery, but alas: no changes.
“We did not find the grave, but Lyudmila Georgievna was still buried at Novodevichy,” the Danilovsky administration was told. - What is the matter now?
A matter of honor, probably. A matter of respect for the great artist and love of country ...
Lyudmila Zykina always called her mother and grandmother the main thing that happened in her life. Thanks to her grandmother, Lyudmila Georgievna became an actress. Grandmother Vasilisa, who once lived in the village of Cheryomushki, was known to the whole district: she knew hundreds of ditties and choruses and was the instigator. In the suburbs she was considered to be her actress. Thanks to her, from her childhood, a daughter and granddaughter took over from her love for singing, who later became a singer, famous throughout the world. Zykina always perceived any trouble associated with relatives as a personal tragedy: for example, when her mother died, Lyudmila Georgievna lost her voice, and she had to leave the choir.
As it became known, Ekaterina Vasilyevna Zykina was buried in 1949 at the Danilovsky cemetery at plot number 4, next to her mother, Vasilisa. Before her death, while she could walk normally, the people's artist came to the cemetery many times, but none of the local employees thought who Lyudmila Georgievna came to.
“For all the time I worked, I only once bumped into her grave,” said an employee of the Danilovsky cemetery, who had worked there for more than 20 years. - And so - so ... Accidentally. Previously, there was a mound on the grave of her mother. Then he disappeared, and we did not see the grave anymore. Maybe before she died, she managed to deliver something. There was only a small stencil on the leg. The last time Lyudmila Zykina came about five years ago.
