According to the press, the next meeting of the leaders of the “Norman Four” countries should be held in Paris on October 2.
On the meeting, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande and Petro Poroshenko agreed on the phone. The presidents of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine also agreed to negotiate their foreign ministers. They are scheduled for September 12th.
The leaders of the four countries also discussed in a telephone conversation how the process of implementing the so-called Minsk agreements concerning the settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine is proceeding. They also discussed the process of constitutional reform in Ukraine, which should legally formalize the special status of Donbass.
