Renowned TV presenter and historian Edvard Radzinsky will pay two million rubles to the family of a woman who died in an accident, of which he became the culprit.
This decision was made Savelovsky Court of Moscow. The accident involving Radzinsky occurred in the summer of 2011 in the suburbs. The car of the 76-year-old TV presenter jumped into the oncoming lane and collided with another car, whose passenger - a 24-year-old girl - died as a result of an accident.
The father of the deceased demanded ten million rubles from Radzinsky in compensation, but the court only partially satisfied his claim. The TV anchor was not injured as a result of the accident, but he was hospitalized due to a deterioration in his health.
